The roundabout at the Lawrence Expressway entrance of KP Santa Clara was designed to keep the flow of traffic in and out of the facility moving smoothly. Now, due to valuable feedback received from physicians, staff and members, changes will be made to improve the traffic flow and make it easier to navigate the entrance into the medical facility.
Beginning on Monday, April 24th, 2006 the following improvements are being made:

The roadways will be re-striped to reflect the lane changes for the Lawrence Lobby entrance. |

Additional signage, as well as stop and yield signs, will be posted to clarify direction and right-of-way for cars entering and exiting. |

The short term parking entrance from the roundabout circle will be blocked off. |

Security will have the ability to change the number of lanes between the parking garages to accommodate traffic flow needs. |

A digital radar speed detector will be operational to display a car’s speed and potentially slow down drivers going too fast. |

Extra security will be enforcing "restricted parking" zones and guiding traffic by the garage entrance. |
