Kaiser Permanente has opened a new Psychiatry Center at 19000 Homestead Road in Cupertino which combines and consolidates several psychiatric departments on a single campus. This one-stop center offers utmost convenience for our members who will receive better coordinated psychiatric care.
The consolidation of all psychiatric services under one roof is part of a major regional initiative in northern California.

Provides a home base for psychiatry. The satellites will still offer psychiatry services so members can get basic psychiatric care closer to where they live. Referrals will be made to this center when members require more in-depth psychiatric care.
Features more group rooms, larger group rooms, child play therapy room, more provider offices allowing for easier scheduling of patients, enables staff to run additional therapy groups and behavioral health education classes. Groups have been proven to be one of the best ways of dealing with issues.
Focuses on preventative care, offering more services and groups which help identify and treat psychiatric conditions before they escalate into a crisis.
Enables related departments to easily consult with one another.
Provides better referral services for patients to other departments to receive needed services.
The location is one block from the MOB and Hospital to allow for better coordination between Psychiatry, CDRP and the other medical services patients will be receiving at the MOB and Hospital.
Provides extensive parking exclusively for clients/members of Psychiatry.
Décor is designed to create a calming and restful environment in which patients can get their psychiatric and chemical dependency needs met.
